The Supreme Basilei served as Regional Directors from 1957 to 1990 when the first Legislative Regional Director was appointed by Soror Mary Shy Scott.
14th Supreme Basileus Arnetta G. Wallace *Chartered the first International Region Chapter - Eta Beta Omega, Monrovia, Liberia, 1957
16th Supreme Basileus Julia Brogden Purnell*Chartered the second International Region Chapter - Eta Psi Omega, Nassau, Bahamas - 1963
19th Supreme Basileus Bernice Irene Sumlin *Chartered Mu Gamma Omega, St. Croix-St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands - 1978 (Later, the chapter was limited to the St. Croix area, due to travel distance between islands.)

23rd Supreme Basileus Mary Shy Scott In 1990 – By Boule’ Legislative Vote in Detroit, Michigan - The International Region became the sorority’s 10th Region. Bella G. Clinkscale Parker, Ph.D. was appointed the First Legislative International Regional Director by Supreme Basileus Mary Shy Scott 1990-1994. *Chartered Tau Sigma Omega Chapter - London, England *Laid the groundwork to charter undergraduate chapters in the region.

Phyllis E. Evelyn Sample-Oates was appointed the seventh Legislative International Regional Director 2010– 2014 by Supreme Basileus Carolyn House Stewart. *Chartered Tau Nu Chapter as the 3rd International Region Undergraduate Chapter – College of the Bahamas, Nassau Campus, 2012 *Chartered Psi Tau Omega as the 2nd Chapter on the African Continent – Johannesburg, South Africa, 2013.

Gizette Canegata Thomas was appointed 2014-2018 by Supreme Basileus Dorothy Buckhanan Wilson as 8th Legislative International Regional Director, and the first from within the region. *Chartered Omega Theta Omega as the 1st Alpha Kappa Alpha Chapter in the Middle East - Dubai, United Arab Amirates, 2016. *Chartered Alpha Alpha Delta Omega as the 1st four-letter named chapter & the 17th chapter in the Region – Toronto, Canada, 2018.
