On March 21, 2020, Supreme Basileus Glenda Glover empaneled the COVID-19 Pandemic Task Force in response to the coronavirus crisis to assist Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority navigate the global pandemic and ensure the health and safety of our members, program and community partners, and guests engaged in sorority programs, activities and events.

The Supreme Basileus appointed Soror Joy Elaine Daley, International Regional Director, Chairman, and Soror Kimberly Esmond Adams, Special Assistant to the Supreme Basileus and Chairman of the International Risk Management Committee, Co-Chairman.

The Task Force is comprised of members of the Directorate, international committee chairmen, medical professionals and members of the Corporate Office Staff.
