‘Divine Nine’ Marker Unveiled on University of Pittsburgh Campus

The plot installed in Schenley Quad honors each of the “Divine Nine” historic Black fraternities and sororities. Also in attendance was 28th Great Lakes Regional Director Soror Toni S. Kendrick. The Plot celebrates each of the “Divine Nine” fraternities and sororities with their seal, information about their founding, and the names of supporters who helped make the Plot possible. According to the University, more than 400 alumni, students, friends and donors to the project attended the dedication event.
