World Refugee Day

The theme was a Hawaiian luau, coordinated by Jaronique Devezin and Reshunda Anderson, complete with leis and grass skirts. The meal was catered by Gwen Bynum with everyone enjoying a wonderful feast on our AKA Impact Day honoring refugees. A southern flare of peach cobbler and pound cake was added to the feast along with great conversation during our one-hour visit. Members of Target V staged and served the meal to men, women and children seeking asylum in the United States.
