International Regional Director

Ms. Joy Elaine Daley is a thirty-three year member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, member of Eta Omega Omega Chapter in the Bronx, NY where she served as tenth President. Through her services to the sorority and her community at large, the chapter became prominent as a winner in everything they attempted to achieve. She has been recognized as President of the Year, the highest honor the Region bestows on chapter presidents. She has taken bold steps to ensure that her leadership reflects the commitment she has made to provide service to all mankind.

On the regional level, Ms. Daley served as Sergeant at Arms, Assistant Parliamentarian, Awards Committee Co-Chairman, and Regional Conference Co-chairman. She also served as the Chairman of the North Atlantic Region Nominating Committee and was appointed Chairman of the National Nominating Committee. As the 30^th North Atlantic Regional Director, she has lead the region to great heights with a strong emphasis on being timely, accountable, transparent and fiscally responsible. She created the first Regional Treasury in the history of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.

Professionally, Ms. Daley was a proud and accomplished New York City Public School Administrator, school principal and Assistant Superintendent, supervising the Budget and Operations of thirty-five schools in New York City before her retirement. Ms. Daley strives for excellence in whatever she does and encourages everyone to be the best. She believes in being very honest and fair in her deliberations.
